It's pretty frustrating, I'll tell ya.
Ah, the joys of Blogspot. It adds a certain extra something to blogging when you never know what they'll hit you with next.
If you haven't tried the "Help" forums yet, I can tell you not to bother. You're either ignored, or are offered vague suggestions that "It must be your computer settings." What computer settings, you might wonder? They never say. Ir's all a bit too Kafkaesque there for my liking.
I absolutely hear you. The "work around" now is to switch operating systems, which is not an option for me. The issue has been going on, for some people, since Saturday. I will try a couple of tweeks today but we will see.
